We would like to update our service users on how we are responding to the outbreak of Covid19, (coronavirus) and how we plan to approach future decisions as the situation develops.
We will always act in the best interests of our patients, carers and family members who use our services – so while it’s appropriate to recognise the need for us to continue our focus on delivering our services, we will always balance this with our responsibility to check that the safety of our staff, volunteers and our service users.
The Covid-19 situation is fast-moving and this may involve us changing some of our planned activities. We will take a pragmatic and flexible approach and monitor the situation and respond accordingly. Should there be any changes to our activities we will let our service users know as soon as possible.
We have taken the difficult decision to cancel/postpone two upcoming events – Derby Well-being Lunch at the Hope Centre in Derby on Tuesday 17th March 2020 and Meso in the Midlands on Monday 23rd March 2020 in Chesterfield.
We will continue to share updates with you through our regular communication channels, such as social media and our website. The latest general official information coming from NHS England and Public Health England can be found here.
