Get Support

We help and support anyone diagnosed with an asbestos related disease or their families.

Our support includes help with benefits advice, access to emotional support and an opportunity to meet others who are in a similar situation.

We offer support to patients and carers and continuing support to bereaved families.

Patients

If you have been diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease we can offer help and support.  We offer advice on

  • Benefits including industrial injuries disablement benefit, care related benefits and where appropriate a full benefits check

  • Government Compensation

  • Making a civil compensation claim

Our holistic service includes

​

  • Access to support group meetings, events and conferences. An opportunity to share experiences as well as meet and ask questions to Health Care professionals.

  • Befriending schemes: by telephone or letters/emails. We will try to match you up with another person who is in the same situation.

Carers and family members

If you are caring for someone with an asbestos-related disease we can offer help and support.

  • Advice on making benefit claims where appropriate

  • Access to our befriending schemes:- by telephone or letters/emails.   We will try to match you up with another person who is in the same situation.
